To the Brent Punjabi Association.
The Brent Punjabi Association was established in November 2010 by Mrs Joginder Kaur Kundhi (President and Founder Member), a senior member of the Punjabi community who has lived in Brent for over 30 years. She has a long history of charitable work in the local community, including working as a Citizens' Advocate with Brent Advocacy Concern and working as a volunteer (for over 14 years) with a local Asian Community Charity. Through being so deeply involved at the heart of the community for so long she became aware of some of the common issues faced by local elderly people, and identified the need for a group helping with the needs of the senior members of the Punjabi-speaking community.
